it takes 45 minutes by speedboat and 2 hours by dhoni to reach Kandooma Tourist Resort from the Airport.

Accommodation

Kandooma has a total of 102 guest rooms. There rooms are designed with a local touch and a re maintained on a regular basis.

FACILITIES

Rooms: 26 Standard Rooms – with attached toilet, fresh water and private terrace. These rooms do not have air condition, but are quite spacious and has ceiling fan. 76 Air Condition Rooms – these rooms also have attached toilet, fresh water supply and a private terrace.

Dining: Main restaurant is spacious and located near the reception area.
Coffee Shop: Located near the beach adjacent to the Beach Bar, Kandooma Coffee Shop serves hot and cold beverages.
Restaurant Bar: Situated near the main restaurant and serves quality wine and other beverages.
Beach Bar: Located conveniently near the beach, an atmosphere for total relaxation. Beach bar open from early morning till last order.

Diving: Aquanaut - PADI 5 star Diving School. Experts can provide assistance to beginners and experienced divers alike. Instructors speak English and German.

Land Sports: Volleyball, Table Tennis.

Water Sports: Wing surfing, Catamaran Sailing, Canoeing, Jet Skiing and Water Skiing.

Excursions: Excursions are organized to local islands nearby as well as to other nearby resorts. Day Picnics are arranged t uninhabited islands nearby, Maadhoo Finolhu – is a hot favorite. Male’ Sightseeing and Shopping Excursion are also organized very frequently. Might Fishing and Sunrise Fishing; Fishing trips can be organized upon request.

Others: A new summing pool with Jacuzzi has just been built in the island. A children’s playground is set near the main public area for children with activity toys for children, such as slides, etc. Evening Entertainment: Boduberu, a Maldivian style drum based music, much enjoyed by visitors.
